Product Safety & EU Compliance

At LE NON-DIT, we believe that safety, sustainability, and aesthetic intention can—and must—coexist. Every product we offer is made to order using materials that meet or exceed international compliance standards, with particular attention to European Union (EU) requirements.

1. Intended Use & Product Classification

  • All products are intended for general consumer use by adults aged 18 and above.
  • We do not sell children’s products, toys, or items classified under the EU Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC).
  • As such, our products are not subject to CE marking.

2. EU Warranty & Legal Compliance

  • In accordance with EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), all consumer goods are covered by a 2-year legal warranty.
  • Should your item arrive with a defect or pose any safety concerns, please contact us at info@lenondit.com so that we can investigate and resolve the issue in accordance with EU law.

3. Chemical & Substance Safety

All applicable products are manufactured in compliance with:

  • EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
  • REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) — covering the registration and restriction of chemical substances
  • CLP Regulation (EC No 1272/2008) — governing classification, labelling, and packaging

We ensure all materials—including inks, adhesives, textiles, and coatings—are within legal thresholds for the following substances:

  • Lead (Pb)
  • Cadmium (Cd)
  • Phthalates
  • Formaldehyde
  • Bisphenols (BPA, BPS)
  • Azo dyes and heavy metals

4. Manufacturing & Traceability

LE NON-DIT products are responsibly produced in certified facilities located in:

  • Vietnam
  • Bangladesh
  • Honduras
  • Nicaragua
  • El Salvador
  • Latvia
  • United States
  • China (components only; not used for final assembly unless otherwise stated)

We do not conduct final assembly or packaging within the European Union. Full traceability by product category is available upon request.

5. Care Instructions & Consumer Use

  • Apparel containing polyester or synthetic blends may shed microfibers. We recommend washing with a Guppyfriend bag or using cold, low-spin cycles.
  • Light-colored garments may display minor speckling or tonal variation due to fiber composition.
  • Our drinkware and glassware are not microwave- or dishwasher-safe unless explicitly stated.

6. Sustainability Commitment

We only produce what is ordered. This made-to-order model helps minimize overproduction and supports a more sustainable, slower fashion cycle—reducing waste and enhancing individual purpose.

This approach aligns with the European Union’s ambitions for circular, environmentally conscious production systems.
