Refund policy

At LE NON-DIT, all products are made-to-order and produced individually upon purchase. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

By purchasing from LE NON-DIT, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.


1. Made-to-Order Policy

All LE NON-DIT products are custom-produced on demand and are not mass-manufactured inventory items.

Because each item is made specifically for the customer after purchase:

  • all sales are generally considered final;
  • we do not guarantee eligibility for returns, exchanges, or cancellations unless required under applicable consumer protection laws;
  • production begins shortly after order placement and may not be reversible once initiated.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing:

  • sizing information;
  • product descriptions;
  • shipping details;
  • item specifications;
  • order accuracy

before completing checkout.


2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Situations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LE NON-DIT does not accept returns, exchanges, refunds, or chargebacks for:

  • incorrect size selection;
  • fit preference;
  • change of mind;
  • buyer’s remorse;
  • subjective dissatisfaction;
  • perceived color differences;
  • minor production variations;
  • delayed delivery caused by carriers, customs, weather, or force majeure;
  • refusal to pay customs duties or import taxes;
  • unclaimed shipments;
  • incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer;
  • packages marked as delivered by the carrier;
  • failed delivery attempts;
  • refused or abandoned shipments;
  • orders placed using discount codes, promotional pricing, gift cards, or store credit;
  • final sale items;
  • worn, washed, altered, damaged, or used items.

Normal variations in embroidery placement, print alignment, garment wash, fabric texture, stitching, color tone, or sizing tolerance do not constitute defects.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is materially damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact:

within 7 days of delivery.

Your request must include:

  • full order number;
  • detailed description of the issue;
  • clear photographs of:
    • the product;
    • packaging;
    • shipping label;
    • visible defect or error.

Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in denial of the claim.

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to independently evaluate all claims before approving any remedy.

If approved, LE NON-DIT may, at its sole discretion:

  • provide a replacement;
  • issue store credit;
  • issue a partial refund;
  • issue a full refund.

Replacement requests are subject to product availability.

Minor cosmetic differences, production tolerances, loose threads, print positioning differences, or subjective dissatisfaction shall not qualify as defects.


4. EU / UK / EEA Consumer Rights

For customers located in the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), or European Economic Area (EEA), certain statutory consumer rights may apply under local law.

Where legally applicable, eligible customers may request cancellation within 14 days of delivery.

However, pursuant to applicable exemptions for personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order goods, certain LE NON-DIT products may not qualify for withdrawal or cancellation rights.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

  • returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, odor-free, and in resellable condition;
  • all original tags, packaging, accessories, and inserts must remain intact;
  • customers are responsible for return shipping costs;
  • original shipping charges, duties, taxes, and customs fees are non-refundable unless legally required otherwise.

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to:

  • reject returns showing signs of wear, washing, fragrance, deodorant marks, makeup stains, pet hair, smoke exposure, or excessive handling;
  • reduce refund amounts where product value has diminished due to handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods.

For hygiene-sensitive products — including hats, headwear, socks, and certain accessories — return eligibility may be restricted or denied for health and hygiene reasons once opened, handled, or tried on.

5. Return Authorization Requirement

All returns require prior written authorization from LE NON-DIT.

Unauthorized returns may be:

  • refused;
  • discarded;
  • returned at the sender’s expense;
  • ineligible for refund.

LE NON-DIT does not guarantee approval of return requests.


6. Return Shipping & Transit Risk

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • arranging return shipping;
  • paying all return shipping costs;
  • obtaining tracking information;
  • ensuring safe delivery of returned goods.

LE NON-DIT strongly recommends using a fully tracked and insured shipping method.

LE NON-DIT is not responsible for:

  • lost return packages;
  • stolen return packages;
  • delayed return shipments;
  • customs-related return delays;
  • damaged returns during transit.

Risk of loss for returned items remains with the customer until physically received and inspected by LE NON-DIT.


7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible;
  • processing may take up to 10 business days after inspection and approval;
  • banking institutions and payment processors may require additional processing time beyond our control.

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to:

  • deduct applicable shipping costs;
  • deduct processing, restocking, transaction, customs, or handling fees where legally permitted;
  • refuse refunds where fraud, abuse, or policy manipulation is suspected.

Refunds may be denied if returned products do not meet eligibility requirements.


8. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before production begins.

Because all items are made-to-order, cancellation requests submitted after production has started may be denied.

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to determine production status at its sole discretion.

Approved cancellations may be subject to payment processing fees, transaction costs, or administrative deductions where legally permitted.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, customers agree to first contact LE NON-DIT to attempt informal resolution before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith chargebacks may constitute breach of these policies and applicable laws.

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to contest disputes and provide supporting evidence, including:

  • order confirmations;
  • tracking information;
  • delivery confirmations;
  • IP address records;
  • customer communications;
  • fraud screening results.

Customers engaging in abusive dispute activity may be restricted from future purchases.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LE NON-DIT shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages;
  • consequential damages;
  • emotional distress;
  • loss of profits;
  • delayed deliveries;
  • carrier failures;
  • customs delays;
  • lost packages;
  • stolen packages;
  • business interruption;
  • reputational harm.

Any liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.

Certain jurisdictions may provide non-waivable rights that override portions of this limitation.


11. Policy Updates

LE NON-DIT reserves the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

Updated policies become effective immediately upon publication on the website.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised policies.
